Middle PHP Developer (Laravel)

Responsibilities

– Develop and optimize backend systems for web applications using Laravel.

– Design, develop, and maintain standard RESTful or GraphQL APIs to support frontend and mobile apps.

– Optimize system performance, databases, and application security.

– Participate in requirements analysis, system design, evaluation, and propose technical solutions.

– Collaborate closely with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, QA team, and clients throughout the development lifecycle.

– Research and stay up-to-date with new technologies to improve software development processes.

– Support and review code for junior/fresher team members when needed.

– Contribute ideas to product development and internal Agile/Scrum process improvements.

Requirements

Must-have:

– Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or completion of intensive coding bootcamps.

– 2–4 years of experience developing web applications using PHP (preferably Laravel).

– Solid understanding of OOP, MVC, SOLID principles, and common Design Patterns.

– Hands-on experience with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

– Proficient in building and designing RESTful APIs.

– Knowledge of Authentication, Authorization, OAuth2, and JWT.

– Familiar with tools like Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

– Strong teamwork, responsibility, and a growth mindset.

– Basic English communication skills (ability to read and understand technical documentation).

Nice-to-have:

– Experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, React.js, or Angular.js.

– Familiarity with message queue systems: Redis, RabbitMQ, etc.

– Experience in performance optimization, caching, and load balancing.

– Ability to mentor or review code for junior team members.

– Basic understanding of server operations and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).

Working Hours

– Date: Monday to Friday (Remote on Wednesdays)

– Time Options: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM or 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM

– Break: 1 hour 30 minutes
