Responsibilities
– Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services using Java (8+) and modern JVM technologies.
– Take end-to-end ownership of the software development lifecycle: from requirements and technical design to deployment and monitoring.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile, flat organizational structure.
– Contribute to the design and implementation of microservices architecture.
– Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews to ensure high quality and consistency.
– Build robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar tools.
– Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability.
– Work with relational databases and optimize data interactions.
– Utilize containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
– Apply domain knowledge in banking/finance to design compliant and reliable systems.
– Stay updated on new technologies and suggest improvements that align with product goals
What are we looking for?
– Have 8+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development
– Experience in modern JVM, Java 8+
– Experience in Relational Database
– Experience in Microservices Architecture
– Well-versed in Git/Gitlab and CD/CI concepts, tools and pipelines
– Experience in the development of mission-critical software systems
– Experience in designing and building performant systems
– Abstract thinking skills and academic level in computer science or other engineering studies
– Experience in Workflow Engines, Kafka is a plus
– Good verbal and written English communication skills
– Strong team player and experienced working with teams on and across sites.
– Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes in a production environment is a plus
– Exposure to Virtualization / Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP is a plus
– Experience in language engineering is a plus

Work Hours:
– Date: Monday to Friday (Remote on Wednesdays)
– Time Options: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM or 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM
– Break: 1 hour 30 minutes
